DAY 1: Arrival In Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and be greeted by our representative before proceeding to your hotel for check-in.
Take some time to relax and freshen up at the hotel.
In the evening, visit the beautiful Shankaracharya Temple.
Enjoy the panoramic views and serene atmosphere surrounding the temple. Take in the breathtaking scenery of Srinagar, with its snow-capped mountains and picturesque landscapes.
After the temple visit, have some free time to explore the local surroundings at your leisure. Experience the tranquility and beauty of the city as you stroll around.Â
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 2: GulmargÂ
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic drive to Gulmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Flowers."
The distance from Srinagar to Gulmarg is approximately 56 kilometers, which will take around 2 hours to cover. As you ascend to an elevation of 2750 meters above sea level, soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes.
Gulmarg is renowned for its exceptional ski slopes, considered among the best in the world. Explore the highest golf course in the world, boasting 18 holes and offering stunning views.
If weather conditions permit, catch a glimpse of the majestic Nanga Parbat, one of the highest peaks in the world.
The journey from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is a treat for the eyes, with captivating vistas along the way.
Opt for a short trek to Khilanmarg, which can be completed in approximately 3 to 4 hours, or indulge in a cable car ride that takes you to the highest point.
In the evening, return to Srinagar and spend the night at the hotel, relishing the memories of your day in Gulmarg.
DAY 3: Sonmarg
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Srinagar.
After breakfast, go on a scenic drive to Sonamarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold."
The name "Sonamarg" is derived from the Kashmiri words "Son" and "Marg," which mean "Gold" and "Meadow," respectively. The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is incredibly beautiful, offering picturesque views of towns, villages, and lush green paddy fields with rivers flowing alongside.
Upon reaching Sonamarg, you can explore the famous Thajiwas Glacier, which is approximately 4 kilometers away from the town. To reach the glacier, you can hire a local taxi or enjoy a pony ride.
Spend your day in Sonamarg, marveling at the magnificent landscapes, snow-capped mountains, and breathtaking meadows.
In the evening, return to Srinagar, cherishing the memories of your day spent in the Meadow of Gold. Rest at the hotel in Srinagar, relaxing and rejuvenating for the next day's adventures.
DAY 4: Pahalgam
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Srinagar, you will be transferred by road to Pahalgam, also known as the "Valley of Shepherds."
During your journey, visit the Saffron fields, where the precious spice is cultivated.
En route, make a stop at the Awantipura Ruins, an ancient temple complex, and the Anantnag Sulphur Springs, known for their therapeutic properties.
Upon reaching Pahalgam, visit Chandanwadi, which is situated 14 kilometers away from the town. You have the option to experience Snow Point by taking a pony ride or trekking (at your own cost).
Return to Pahalgam and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the picturesque countryside and enjoying leisurely walks through the pine forest along the scenic River Lidder.
In the evening, savor a delicious dinner at a local restaurant and retire for the night, soaking in the tranquility and natural beauty of Pahalgam.
DAY 5: Srinagar Sightseeing
Have your breakfast at the hotel in Pahalgam, before traveling back to Srinagar.
Upon reaching Srinagar, your first stop will be Pari Mahal, also known as the Palace of Fairies. It is a beautiful seven-terraced garden located on top of the Zabarwan mountain range, offering panoramic views of the city of Srinagar and the enchanting Dal Lake.
Next, visit Cheshma Shahi, one of the Mughal gardens built in 1652 AD by Ali Mardan Khan. This garden was a gift from Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to his son Prince Dara Shikoh and is renowned for its natural springs and stunning architecture.
Explore Nishat Garden, also known as the Garden of Pleasure, built in the 16th century by Mughal King Asif Khan. This beautiful garden is a perfect blend of vibrant flowers, terraced lawns, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
